Chicago, IL. – A custom 1966 Chevrolet C/10 Street Truck dubbed “Unruly,” built by Lakeside Rods and Rides Owner Roger Burman, joined Prestone Products Corporation, the leader in underhood chemicals, for the truck’s first-ever SEMA Show appearance. “Unruly” is a focal point of Prestone’s booth in South Hall, where it is displayed alongside the brand’s 1972 AMC Javelin AMX, custom-built by the Ringbrothers in celebration of Prestone’s 90th Anniversary.

Beneath the hood, which shines bright with a coat of PPG Atomic Silver and Citrinbraun paint, “Unruly” has a Turn Key Engine LS7, Kenne Bell 3.2 Supercharger and Bowler Performance Transmissions 4L80E. It also features a Roadster Shop chassis with cantilever rear suspension, RideTech control lines and tanks, Strange Engineering gears, Dakota Digital gauges, a Vintage Air system, Schott Wheels Mach V, and Wilwood brake calipers with 14-inch rotors. The remarkable interior was completed by Webers Custom Interiors.

“The ‘Unruly’ truck is one of those projects that really embodies the spirit of the SEMA Show,” said Randy Fisher, Prestone’s VP of Marketing. “We are honored to have such an outstanding build in our booth and foresee it getting a lot of attention from the passionate aftermarket community.”

The enthusiast community has also been treated to the unveiling of Prestone’s 1972 Javelin AMX Ringbrothers build, which was revealed at a press conference on October 31, 2017. The 90th Anniversary celebration will continue throughout November, as Prestone hosts a unique car rally from the Petersen Automotive Museum to the LA Auto Show, where the company sponsors The Garage, Powered by Prestone.
