Edelbrock Releases New Gen-II HEMI Cam

EDELEBROCKHEMICAM

Specifically made for 426-572 HEMI engines, Edelbrock’s new Rollin’ Thunder camshaft lineup is serious business. It meets all of the non-negotiables for a proper muscle car cam, like:

  • Increased Horsepower
  • Improved Torque
  • Great Idle Sound

All great right? Sure, but this cam offers more than the ‘usual’ cool aftermarket cam features.

Probably most importantly, the series is made with more aggressive lift profiles than conventional flat-tappet hydraulic cams, without excessive valve overlap. So, it’s got high lift power without compromising low RPM drivability like many cams. The 1,500 to 6,500 RPM power band will keep it from feeling boggy at low RPMs, even with stock geared cars. It also doesn’t rob vacuum needed for power brakes, etc.
